Welcome to the website of the Giuliani Emotion and Self-Regulation Lab in the School Psychology and Prevention Science graduate programs the University of Oregon. We are members of of the Health Promotion Initiative, and are also affiliated with the Prevention Science Institute and the Center for Translational Neuroscience at UO.

Our research focuses on identifying and understanding mechanisms supporting the development and maintenance of adaptive self-regulation across many domains, including emotion, behavior, and cognition. We seek to understand how these mechanisms predict everyday health behavior, developmental trajectories, and academic achievement across many stages of life, including preschool, adolescence, adulthood, and parenthood.

Please contact us if you are interested in the lab!
